I just found and really liked Shafiur Rehmaan's street art video on vimeo.It shows the progress of a painting from a photograph depicting a woman and child which Shafiur Rehman found in a book about photography,titled 'Ma o Shishu',or 'Mother and Child'.
The wall is part of a restaurant in London's Brick Lane area,which is home to people of different nationalities,mainly South-East Asian.I can imagine the interest it must have awoken in passers-by,because of its touching scene.The ending made me really sad.To damage and demolish that piece of wall which pictured nearly half of the mothers face was in my opinion a brutal act...watch.
